Does this guy look like he might know a thing or two about fat loss? |
That's right! We do it so well any time we want that we don't even think about it. We use all the diets that still baffles doctors, we take all the right vitamins, which again, doctors don't even know about, and some bodybuilders use drugs.
Ok, now here we go: the D word! NEWS FLASH: doctors are prescribing DANGEROUS drugs every day for weight loss and they don't even know what they do! Phen Phen ... remember that stuff? It was killing people! But TONS of doctors gave it out like candy!!! Alli causes ANAL LEAKING! WTF??? And it's still on the market along with a host of other drugs. I don't know of one single bodybuilder who died from an ephedrine and caffeine stack. And trust me, the way the media likes to damn it. We would read about it in the national news if one single bodybuilder died from ephedrine! Yet we see ads every day for drugs recalled for killing people and causing serious harm.

Does this guy look like he knows about fat-loss? Yet this is who is giving scripts out and who people trust! |
Bottom line is if bodybuilders have evolved to be the APEX FAT KILLERS, then why are they looked down upon by the FAT doctors and overweight people who could really use their help? I'll tell you why. Who wants to go to a car lot filled with BMW's, Mercedes, Ferrari, and Porsche when you can only afford a $1,200 car? It's all a mind set.
If that same person who went to the expensive car lot and said, "I'm gonna save up and I'm gonna get a Porsche," now suddenly he puts that dream into motion. It's going to be hard, tiring, and it's not going to be fun all the time. It's the same thing with weight loss. I hear people complain all the time how they cannot do it, but they don't give it 100%. So why would they want to go to the gym every day and see people who look amazing? It's not intimidating; it's depressing because they know they are not working hard to get the body they want.
I'm not sure why people don't go after the body they want and put 100% into getting it. I mean, does anyone ENJOY being fat? Do you like going to the beach or the pool and knowing you could be looking so much better? NO! Nobody WANTS to look like that, but the just don't put forth the effort to change it.
Most of the people I know who look great also FEEL great! They are nice, friendly, and willing to help others attain their fitness goals! As far as trainers go, if they look good, then trust their word. If they are 20% bodyfat and just ate a Big Mac and a large fry ... maybe they shouldn't be the one to go to for fat loss advice.
So why aren't bodybuilders welcome in so many gyms? Well, if they make people feel bad about the way they look just by simply being there, that's one thing. But is it really that person's fault for looking good? And if they start helping people get in shape, then all of a sudden all the money being dumped into that gym for personal training goes away and now the gym loses money. It's all a money thing, people. I've seen it behind the scenes for years now. So it's up to YOU to look for someone who really knows how to get in shape and to stop listening to the person who hasn't been able to help you so far.
So there you have it. In the past 20 years, bodybuilders (yes, those big scary people who grunt during a hard set) have had the key to fat loss all along. So don't be afraid to just say hi and ask them how they got so lean. Don't be surprised when they answer you intelligently and nicely. You may have just made a new friend who will help you on your way to YOUR goal!
YEAH JERRY! I love your rants/posts! :) Because how real is that?!
