Thank you for taking the time to stop here and look at the BioS3 training system. Please take some time to look through the site, view the videos, check out the client gallery, and see what we are about.
I have a client/friend named Erin. For about two or three years she has been making a long drive in traffic to come get her butt kicked by me in the gym. She has been building her body to be strong, fit and healthy - not a competitive bodybuilder, but in the sense of the word, a bodybuilder. She trains hard and loves to set new records in the gym. She pays close attention to her diet and to what she eats.
She decided to go skiing over the holidays, which wouldn't be a big deal for people who have skied before; however, it was her first time skiing. She was doing well until she fell and felt her leg swelling. It turns out that she fell just right and broke her leg. Yup, first time out.
The doctor told her to stay off her feet for six to eight weeks. However, when she returned home, without missing a single beat, she called me and we made a plan for an upper body workout while she couldn't train legs or cardio. And of course her diet was on point, as usual.
Well, I got a text the other day ... Erin was healed a week early! How? She was fit and healthy when she got injured, her diet was basically set up to heal, and she kept her body running by doing upper body workouts, so she healed faster. The human body is an amazing thing!
When I was younger, I had a bad case of pneumonia; it almost killed me. After a week in the hospital with a stay in the ICU, I walked out on my own. I was down to about 210 pounds, and the Physical Therapist looked shocked when she came to my room to test my strength. She had heard I told the doctor that I felt weak. I told her, "I AM weak! I think i could only bench press about 400 pounds right now. That's weak for me!" Everyone just laughed.
The doctor told my family if I hadn't been so strong and healthy when I got to the hospital, I certainly would have died the first night.
As you build your body and get stronger and healthier, it very well could save your life someday. Bodybuilding turned out to be my silent little helper that I didn't even know was there!
